The man woke up. His head was pounding and it felt like there were screws driven into his head. As all the events that happened before he passed out filled his mind, he rememebered the potion/perfume. Hurrying over to a mirror in th corner of the shop, he saw that his face had gotten more tan and his cheekbones weren't so high. As he placed his hand in a patch of sunlight, it hurt a bit, but it didn't actually burn like the other times he went in sunlight. The man did a happy dance. He was turning back to normal. Then, as he turned around, he saw the woman who was a mage block he door.

"I believe something went good, specially that you own a reflection, and the sun does not burn you." She said coldly and weaved her hands a circle, same object appeared on the floor around man. "I suggest not passing the line, unless you want to check how much fireproof you are, but I can assure you that there is less that a few items that you may use, to get out and you don't look on someone able to use them. Now would you mind telling me what actually happened here. Should you not worry, we have much time." She said looking his eyes. Sunrise had to know that, if he somehow managed to overcome the curse, she had no longer interest in killing him, but if he only gained the protection against sun, then everything was different. Luckily she knew the blessing circle, a very useful spell that one hand gave protection to person inside, but on the other disturbed every trial of casting some magic, that mean also teleportation, plus there was no possibility to unweave it, but what was the most important it was unbelievable easy. The man seemed to be calmed, but that actually meant nothing. She crossed her hands waiting for the answer.

"Well, I, uh-" He looked around, looking for a place to escape. He had to go and tell his family NOW. "Well.." He said in a tiny voice. He lowered his head and charred the ground with his feet. Suddenly, the man took the hood off his robe and exposed his face to the woman. What used to be a handsome man turned into an ugly, pale, vampire. His skin had a tint of tan and the wrinkles on his face was softened. His eyes were a pale pink. "My name is Alkaegor Henesphestus. Alkor for short. I..My family was attacked by vampires when I was sixteen..." Alkor's voiced cracked. He cleared his throat. "But..They spared me and turned me into one of them because I had certain skills. I did not want to be with them, but..The dark energy turned me into a vampire, but a part of me still remained myself. I went on a quest to find a cure for vampirism. I needed to come to this town to meet my brother. He was the only one in my family who didn't know I was a vampire. He thought I died when we were attacked." He sat down. His legs getting tired. He stared at the mage for a second, and carried on. "When my brother found out I was a vampire, he tried to kill me or..throw me in the fireplace or the sun.." His eyes filled with tears. His mother tried to do that to him, too! His father and his sister were the same. "But, I wouldn't let him do that. So I ran outside and I was absolutely furious. I had no control. I thought my brother would accept me for what I was made into.. But I didn't. I suddenly had a need to kill things or cause sorrow and pain as I did. But that was until I came to this shop. As you ran outside, I figured out that this shop was the best shop for potions and perfumes on this planet, so.. I drank a perfume that I suspected was a cure for vampirism. It's about 2000 years old and it smells very lovely, you know." He added with wonder.

"I see." Dryad said slowly. "Now I am guessing Alkaegor, you wish to speak with your brother once more, hoping that this the time he will accept you and allow you to join the family you were made to leave behind? Am I right? May you want a fellow on that regathering? However I do not understand why did you attack the poor Colner instead of buying the perfume or steeling the bottle under cover of the night? wouldn't that be more simple and noiseless? But the question Alkaegor is are the effects of the potion permanent?" Mage looked one the circle and then again on half-vampire or whatever the boy turned into. "As for those questions you have a choice to answer or not, as I must confess I've deluded you as the blessing circle last only for few minutes. However if you choose to answer that questions and don't mind such accompany as mine, I might teach you that. It is all up to you now." She said and gave him a soft glance.

"I-I.." He stuttered. "As I said, I had no control." Alkor said, clenching his teeth. "And the affects of the potion are until you finally are cured from Vampirism. I used to be an Alchemist, you know." Alkor suddenly was remembering more and more about the things he did while dark energy took over his body. His hand reached up to feel his cheekbones. They weren't as boney as before. "Yes, I do want to see my family. It is very important to me." Alkor said with a feeling of longing. He saw the Mage stare at him in disbelief. "May I ask you a question. Why do you care? Why do you care if I like my family or not? I am a vampire until about a week, when the Vampirism starts to go away. Why would you CARE about someone as wretched as me?" He asked furiously.

Sunrise just smiled gently. "Why? Maybe because you are not a vampire anymore and honestly I do not know what or who are you now. It is only with great difficulty to cure someone who, was just infected I can remember that really good and did not taste blood yet, however you overcome that after a while." Alkaegor blinked with disbelief. "Oh please do not ask my age, I know it has been a long time since that art was done, but not that old as the time of extinction of the plant. But that was not my point. See dear and you are intriguing and I like to follow such personalities and it is also maybe that I don't trust you enough and want to make sure if I made a right decision of not killing you and eventually protect the innocents from you. I understand that you may not like the words I am saying, but I am honest with you." She gave him long glance that on one hand was full of emotions and messages and on second because of that much confusing.

Alkor sat there silently. It felt strange to hear words like this spoken to him. "I do not trust you either," He said slowly, "But since you are the one that is keeping me from my family right now, I will oblige. I will be honest, I do not know how to act in this situation. I do not know why you are keeping me here while I just told you all about me. Of course, in about a day I will not have the urge to drink blood anymore, so if you're keeping me here until tommorow, that's fine."

" I am not keeping you anywhere, I am simply searching for the answers." The druid said gravely. " I want to follow you, when you will visit your family in order to protect them, or you. However you are right that rush is not desirable now. If you are longing to wait I am inviting you to my house, and I hope you don't mind it is haunted."

"I am not afraid of the undead." Alkor remembered when he worked with the undead, when he was a vampire. "I shall go with you. And I might say that my family is a bit violent."

"That's wonderful, then please follow me." Druid smiled. " But before home, I have to visit a friend, that should take only a minute."
